L’Amour est-il gone?

I know I posted a picture of Paris just a few days ago, but today they started taking the love locks down at Pont des Arts! When you see an image like this you think “why would they bother to take the love out from a few locks”? But whatever the photos show, I was amazed to see the extension, variety and quantity of locks that are exhibited there after a long time. It is clear that the weight is an issue, and ultimately, love should not be a big weight, not even to a bridge. I think, though, that creative ideas should come up to cherish love (always a good thing), but with the lightness that the feeling should have. Any sugestions?

  1. Though it is reasonable for the sake of the bridge, but it is truly disappointing for the lovers … I know we should preserve the bridge, but still a part of me want to keep the padlock there.
